Plan Your Stay

It doesn't get any better than summer at St Moritz....

There are hundreds of world class day trips, walks, beaches and restaurants all jostling for your attention right on our doorstep.

Here are just a few that you may not have considered before...

your adventure starts with us

St Moritz Hotel is the start of many great walks. One of our favourites is to St Enodoc's Church. From the footpath above Greenaway Bay you are only a mile and a half from the church. Passing the pinstriped rocks of Trebetherick Point, across the sweeping white sands of Daymer Bay, you are just a short stroll across the golf course to the church, perhaps one of the most picturesque in the UK and final resting place of Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman.

camel valley

"Cornwall" Pinot Noir Rose Brut is an award winning Sparkling Rose. Enjoying a glass on your balcony could be an adventure enough for you! But if you, like us, find that this remarkable wine deserves a little more of your time and attention then embark on the Camel Valley Vineyard wine tour. The vineyard is just a few miles outside Wadebridge.

on a bicycle made for two...

Sticking with the Camel theme, why not arrange for the St Moritz Land Rover to take you down to the Rock ferry port where you can hop across the Estuary to Padstow and the Camel Trail. With all your bicycles booked up for you by the host team, all you have to do is enjoy the ride. With breathtaking views across the Camel Estuary and the beautiful boutique shops of Wadebridge and Padstow, what could be more fun for the family? How about taking a tandem? Well, holidays are meant to be an adventure!

a gourmet's delight

There are very few people who wouldn't agree that Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant is one of the finest of its kind in the UK. Jamie Oliver's Fifteen is famous for it's stylish cuisine, relazed atmosphere and remarkable views. Nathan Outlaw has moved his eponymous 2 Michelin star restaurant to Port Isaac. With so many exceptional restaurants in the area, it's sometimes hard to keep track of all the fantastic dining options we have right here on our doorstep. Have you been to Paul Ainsworth's Number 6 or the Dining Room in Rock?

why not simply hang out?

With every kind of day trip close by, don't miss out on what could be the best day of them all, a day with us! Simply hang out on a hammock and take lunch at the Sea Side restaurant, followed by a treatment at the Cowshed spa. All while the children have an amazing adventure packed day with Wavehunters surf school or the Mini Moritz Club. Whole days can, and should, be spent staring out to sea and at Stepper Point. With every kind of luxury at your disposal, our advise is to be sure not to forget a simple and lazy day at St Moritz.
