Originally from Bude, leisure assistant Nat moved to St Minver ten years ago. Full of life, Nat is a keen surfer and loves paddling out at Constantine on her day off. We recently caught up with her to find out a bit more about her role.
How long have you worked at the St Moritz Hotel?
Not long, since June. It has gone so quickly. I don’t want to be cheesy, but I actually really love my job. I used to be a beach lifeguard in Bude, which I loved, but here I’m always doing something different, no day is the same.
What does your job entail?
I lifeguard the outdoor pool, as well as help daily leisure facilities run smoothly and run Mini Moritz activities.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
All of it! Although the kids club is great, I love all the activities.
What’s your favourite activity to take?
Football, which is weird because I used to hate it. I just love getting involved though. I used to be really bad at football, but now I feel like I’m really good. That could just be because I’m playing 8 year-olds though…
Tell us a random fact about yourself…
I work on a farm on my days off. I love cows. All animals. Every morning and evening I feed the calves, we feed them nuts and milk to keep them strong.
When you’re not at work where can we find you?
Down on the farm or on the beach.
