Get ready for an adventure with the whole family and explore the lost world of dinosaurs at the Eden Project this summer.

The Kneehigh Asylum

30 August – 28 September

The internationally acclaimed Cornish theatre company, Kneehigh, take to the stage in the stunning Lost Gardens of Heligan this September to present their jaw-dropping new show, Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs).

The restaurant at the Lost Gardens of Heligan will be offering a specially created pre-theatre menu, before the award winning cast of actor musicians wow you with their weird and wonderful performance at the Asylum.

Newquay Fish Festival

12 September – 14 September

Newquay Fish Festival returns for its 12th year, showcasing once more one of Cornwall’s hidden gems, Newquay Harbour.  The three day annual event brings together Newquay’s vibrant holiday scene and the traditional fishing community of the old Cornish Harbour, creating a very special atmosphere for everybody to soak up.

The cooking demonstrations by top local chefs remains undoubtedly the highlight of the festival, promoting the spectacular locally sourced fresh fish and shellfish that Cornwall has in abundance.

Without wanting to tempt fate, Newquay Fish Festival has been blessed with beautiful weather the last 11 years; fingers crossed 2014 proves no different!  With arts, crafts and lots of activities for the whole family, this event cements its popularity with holiday makers and locals alike year upon year.

Head on down to Newquay Harbour this September!

The Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival
