Now how good does that sound?

Watch the kids from the beach or join in! Our famed Wavehunters Surf School caters from beginner to advanced surfers. All instructors are qualified lifeguards, fully BSA trained and experienced in coaching and working with children. The snuggest of wetsuits, boots, gloves and hats will all be included. Make use of our Rockfish Wellies* with the Lost Gardens of Heligan Winter Welly Walk.
At the end of the nineteenth century the Heligan gardens were at their peak. But only a few years later bramble and ivy were creeping their way across the beautiful estate. After decades of neglect, 1990 saw a re-discovery of the gardens and the beginning of a project to restore them to their former glory. Now in its third decade the award-winning garden restoration is internationally acclaimed.
This February the Lost Gardens of Heligan are inviting you to get togged up in your waterproofs and wellies to explore the estate. Splash through the Lost Valley stream, discover who’s hibernating in the insect hotel, get dizzy on their rope swing and see how far you can wang a welly!
Winter welly walk is available from now until 13th February and included in normal admission. Kids admission to the gardens is free until 28th February 2015.
*Rockfish Wellies are available to borrow from reception, or get two pairs FREE when you book our Month of Lovepackage.
This February is all about rainforests and pasties…
On the 28th February the Eden Project will be celebrating our world famous Cornish pasty. Entries to the championships will range from professional companies to amateurs, including a junior category. The Oggy Oscars ceremony will take place in the evening, with live music from Port Isaac’s Fisherman’s Friends and beers in the Mediterranean Biome.
